This is kinda embarassing...but I've heard people mention their two principal inspirations as "blogparents" in the past...and for me it's yourself and Dr Crippen.
I still enjoy lurking around your intriguing site quite frequently.

Hey!!! I'm so glad to see your words. I checked here everyday for months. Lately just a couple times a month.
Remember - everything is easier with a little help from your friends.
